HSA Fall Classic Recreational Tournament

About the Annual HSA Fall Classic Recreational Tournament

Hancock Soccer Association (HSA), Findlay, Ohio is the hosting organization of this tournament.  HSA is a member of Ohio Youth Soccer Association - North (OYSAN) and the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA).  The tournament is an approved and sanctioned USYSA and OYSAN event.

The tournament has been held every year since it was started in 1995.  All proceeds from this tournament fund the HSA College Scholarship Program.  This program offers college scholarships to Findlay area high school graduates who have been past HSA participants.  $8,200 has been awarded to 82 Findlay area high school graduates since 1996.

The tournament is open to USYSA affiliated U12 through U15 Recreational teams that are registered through their respective State Associations for the current year fall season and are playing in (or have played in) a fall season USYSA recreational league of the current year.  It takes place on the home fields of Hancock Soccer Association at Emory Adams Park in Findlay, Ohio.  The 2011 tournament has now been combined as part of the Flag City Classic competitive tournament.  This will be a combined Recreational and Competitive tournament.  The Recreational teams will be competing against each other in their own brackets.  The Competitive teams will be competing against each other in their own brackets.  The combined tournament is now under one name, the "Flag City Classic".

2011 Tournament Volunteers Needed!

The tournament is in need of volunteers to help make this event a success and fun for all participating teams.  We need volunteers from our recreational and competitive programs.  Anyone with participating teams from other clubs are welcome to volunteer to help too.  And, we can also use volunteers from other community organizations who may need to be putting in community service hours.

Sign up for whatever you can help out with and for however long you can.  If you know of any organizations that need service or volunteer time please have them sign up as well.  Just ask whomever is in charge of the organization to sign up for the whole group.

2009 HSA Fall Classic Recreational Tournament Information and Results

The 15th Annual Hancock Soccer Association Fall Classic Recreational Tournament took place October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 2009 at Emory Adams Park - Findlay, Ohio.

There were 33 recreational teams from Hancock Soccer Association, the Black Swamp Soccer League, and Appleseed Youth Soccer Association participating in this event.  Age groups were U12 Boys (Co-ed), U12 Girls, and U15 Co-ed.
