About The HSA College Scholarship Program

In 1995, the Hancock Soccer Association Board of Directors began to host an annual recreational tournament named the HSA Fall Classic Tournament.  The sole purpose of this tournament was to provide funds for a newly created Hancock Scholarship program.

This scholarship program was founded to recognize former Hancock Soccer Association participants and assist them in their future academic endeavors.  Thus, Hancock Soccer Association entered into a new era of not only making available the best soccer program for our area youth, but also of playing an active role in our local community academic affairs.  The first scholarships were awarded to area graduating seniors in 1996.  Since then, Hancock Soccer Association has awarded $8,200 to 82 area high school seniors.

Scholarships are available to all Hancock County area graduating high school seniors who have participated in Hancock Soccer Association for at least three years.  The scholarships are in the amount of $100.00.  The checks are made out to the college or university the recipients will be attending.  Scholarships will be awarded in the spring of each year before graduation from high school.  Scholarships will be awarded to as many qualifying graduates as funds allow.

Students should complete all sections of the application form.  Any area graduating seniors that wish to apply for this scholarship sould be able to obtain application forms at their respective high schools.  Check with your high school academic advisors or designated scholarship advisors.  If application forms are not available at your high school, you can download a form and instructions packet using the link provided below.
