Start Smart ^™ Program Clinics

About the Program

The National Alliance for Youth Sports Start Smart ^™ Program is for beginning 3 and 4 year old soccer players and their parents. Clinic sessions last one hour. The entire program clinic consists of six one hour sessions.

This program is designed to teach basic skills and help future Little Kickers (LK) players and parents ready themselves for participation in Hancock Soccer Association on organized teams. The Start Smart ^™ program teaches children and their parents the basic motor skills necessary to participate in organized sports while giving them the opportunity to work one-on-one together.

Parents learn right along with their children. Participating in this program will give new LK and U6 soccer players a head start in the sport and teach parents what and how to work with their youngsters at home to prepare them for playing on organized teams.

The cost of these clinics is $30.00 per participant. This cost covers the participation fee and a kit of required items. The kit is yours to keep upon completion of the clinics.

Attending the Start Smart ^™ Clinic is also good for the Little Kicker parent who wants to coach. There is good stuff here for them to learn along with their child so they can coach others.

The clinics are normally held each spring soccer season or immediately after the spring soccer season. This helps prepare new LK players and their parents for the upcoming fall and following spring soccer seasons.
