Why are we asking you to
enter the text from an image?
This is a security test to determine whether or not the user is human. This will ensure that only human visitors will actually submit the form. We're also protecting the internet from spammers. If we didn't do this, a spammer's computer program might be able to use our form to send spam to us (and others). This costs us a lot of time and effort.
It is well known that programmers can write programs for many jobs, including visiting a large amount of sites on the Internet by following links from page to page to collect email addresses listed on websites, submit contact forms, or even try to break passwords by trying to login over and over again with computer generated passwords.
Fortunately, it is impossible for a non-human (computer program) to extract a word or a combination of letters and numbers from an image, if the letters and numbers are not all of the same size and of similar font. This is why the Image Verification security method ensures that only people actually can submit our form. By entering the text you see, you're helping our server confirm that you're a real human being and not an automated computer program.
